do you have a red suit for this?

Pontiac Solstice

If you were to drive this flawless and sexy coupe, what attire would you wear? Perhaps your brows are currently jumping off your forehead, haha. Why am i asking this anyway? Well, do you want people see you in pink shorts and green shirt as you step down from this car? Awkward huh. An elegant car like this should be complemented with the best suit huh? Remember that. Nevertheless, if you do not have the plan to leave this car, then it's your choice. In the meantime, let us discover deeper facts about this coupe. What more should we know to get prepared.....

The Pontiac Solstice was introduced in 2002 as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show. There were two versions of the car, the current roadster and the coupe. Such concept has been fully realized with the introduction of the Solstice Coupe for the 2009 model year.

Though having the same fastback shape of the concept, the production version adds a lift-out Targa panel between the windshield header and the B-pillar. Also, you will see a rear glass hatch and ducktail rear spoiler as dominant features of the car. In addition to that fixed panel, that is too large to store onboard, the car is designed with the soft-top cover that provides protection against detrimental elements.

The basic look of the car is the same even if the rear taillamps have been tailored smoother flow into the tapered roofline. Also, the additional space beneath the rear window doubles the load space to 5.6 cu. ft.

The coupe is made available in both base and GXP trim levels. These offer buyers a respective choice of a normally aspirated 173-bhp 2.4-liter four or a turbocharged 2.0-liter four making 260 bhp. Consedering that the new top is a composite-covered aluminum structure, curb weight is up slightly over the stock vehicle. For example, the lift-out panel weighs just 31 lb. and can be easily removed or installed by just one person.
